This is my first attempt to bake traditional German Christmas/Advent cookies.
I started the advent bake craze, beware!
This one is the easiest of the list:
Vanillekipferl (vanilla crescents)
- 200 g Butter
- 70 g powdered sugar
- 110 g grated almond
- 240 g white flour
- Vanilla sugar to sprinkle
- Preheat the oven at 180C
- Mix all ingredients until homogenous (hand or Thermomix (1 min speed 6))
- Give the cookies a half moon shape placing them on an over tray covered with parchment paper or a silicone mat
- Bake for about 12-15 min or until ready.
