Oats are quite nutritious, packed with fiber and release energy slowly, so they are a perfect option for starting your day. With Thermomix, you can prepare them while you shower, winning 10 min extra sleep (without is easy too, but you need to stir it yourself)

Fuel your day with this nutritious and delicious almond milk porridge. Ready in minutes, it’s the perfect breakfast for those on the go.

Oats are a fantastic source of fiber and provide slow-release energy, making them an ideal way to start your day. With a Thermomix, you can prepare this porridge while you shower, giving you an extra 10 minutes of precious sleep. If you don’t have a Thermomix, it’s still easy to make on the stovetop, although it will require some stirring.

Ingredients:

  • 50g oats
  • 250ml almond milk
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • Maple syrup to taste
  • Blueberries or other toppings

Instructions:

Thermomix Method:

  1. Add oats, almond milk, and cinnamon to the Thermomix.
  2. Cook at speed 1, 90 degrees for 7 minutes.
  3. Pour into a bowl, add maple syrup or your preferred sweetener, and top with blueberries or your favorite toppings.

Stovetop Method:

  1. Combine oats, almond milk, and cinnamon in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium.
  3. Cook, stirring frequently, until the porridge thickens (approximately 7-10 minutes).
  4. Pour into a bowl and add your desired toppings.

Notes:

  • You can use water, milk, or a combination instead of almond milk.
  • If the porridge becomes too thick, simply add a little more milk or almond milk to the bowl and stir.

Enjoy this quick, healthy, and delicious breakfast!

  • 50 g of oats
  • 250 of almond milk
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • Maple syrup to taste
  • Blueberries or other toppings

Instructions

In the Thermomix:

  • add oats, almond milk and cinnamon and cook at speed 1, 7 min at 90 degrees.
  • Pour in a bowl and add Maple syrup or other sweetener and the toppings, I love it with blueberries or banana

Without Thermomix:

  • add oats, almond milk and cinnamon and bring to a boil. With medium heat, cook the porridge (stir often) until it thickens (7 to 10 min approx.)
  • Pour in a bowl and add toppings.

Notes

You could make them with water, milk, or a mix. If it thickens too much, add some more milk/almond milk in the bowl and stir. Enjoy!

I’ve tried a few other thermomix porridge recipes and was always disappointed. Not with this recipe – it is PERFECT! Cooked exactly as recipe says, just added some pepitas & sunflower seeds. Thanks so much for this recipe, it’ll be our regular now, so delicious and creamy. Yum!!
