A very wintery sweet, one of my favorites, and it requires white wine!!

  • 100 g lard
  • 220 g white flour
  • 60 ml white wine
  • 50 sugar
  • Powdered sugar generous for decorations.



  • Mix the lard at room temperature, with the flour and sugar.
  • Add the white wine, mix in well, form into a ball and let it rest in the fridge for 2 hours.
  • Preheat the oven at 180ÂșC
  • Roll the pastry until about 1.5-2 cm thick. Cut with a small round cookie cutter and place on a non stick silicon mat or oven proof paper.
  • Bake for 15 min, or until they are done. Cool down on a rack.
  • Once cold, sprinkle generously powder sugar on top (nevaditos need nieve)
