I have a normal set of stainless steel pots and then one cast iron pot or dutch oven.
The latter is by far my favorite, not only because it is much prettier than the other, but it distributes the heat beautifully and can be used to bake bread.
The most famous brand, and still on my to-buy list is Le Creuset, but the price tag is quite elevated
The brand of my dutch oven is Baumalu, I had it for three years without any problem and the price was about 1/4 of a Le Creuset. However it does not have the lifetime guarantee.
The model is not sold anymore on Amazon
For cheaper alternatives, I know Ikea has also cast iron pots, I have not tested them though. Amazon Basics has their own version that cost less than 1/4 of the price of Le Creuset
